Troy Hester
Troy is a multiple award-winning graphic designer and art director located in the Midwest. He has a wide breadth of professional experience ranging from the world’s leading producer of precision wire to the world famous Toledo Mud Hens and the Toledo Walleye. And now at Interrupt, one of the top strategic branding and marketing agencies operating in the building materials industry.
He is a highly motivated self-achiever who enjoys problem solving, learning new things and pushing himself to find innovative solutions to complex problems. Troy’s attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure along with his easy-going, optimistic personality have always allowed him to quickly jump into new work environments and excel.
Troy’s first approach to every project nearly always starts in the sketch book. He quickly explores a variety of concepts while recording important details about what does and does not work. After developing several iterations on paper, he transitions to the computer where he refines and fleshes out the most promising of the concepts.
He balances his day job with with time spent outdoors where he enjoys fishing and hiking, playing soccer and golf, and working on and riding bikes. He also enjoys reading and relaxing with friends on the front porch of the 100 year old house that he and his wife are currently renovating.
